Baseball Recap: Republic County Takes a Loss

Republic County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Beloit Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Monday.

Republic County's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Beloit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Republic County will take on Valley Heights on Tuesday. As for Beloit, they will host Lyons on Friday.
