Volleyball Recap: Loogootee Lions vs. Springs Valley Blackhawks

Loogootee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Springs Valley Blackhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Alaina Diamond paced Loogootee's offense, picking up 12 kills. Diamond got some help from Aubrey Gilbert and her 16 assists. Gilbert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
