Volleyball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edgewood can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers on Tuesday. The Red Wolves have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Natalie Ruberte, who had 17 digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played.

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, they will be playing at home against Canterbury at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
