Volleyball Game Preview: West Branch Bears vs. West Liberty Comets

West Branch is 0-10 against West Liberty since October of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Comets at 6:00 p.m. West Liberty took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Branch, who comes in off a win.

West Liberty will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: West Branch extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 win over Davenport West.

Meanwhile, West Liberty came up short against Kennedy on Saturday and fell 2-0.

The victory got West Branch back to even at 6-6. As for West Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

West Branch couldn't quite get it done against West Liberty in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
