Football Game Preview: Jackson North Side Indians vs. Hardin County Tigers

The Jackson North Side Indians will head out on the road to take on the Hardin County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson North Side easily dispatched Dyer County last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Indians fell just short of Crockett County by a score of 28-26 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since August 23, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Jackson North Side had strong showings from Quinn Jenkins, who threw for 159 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 passes, and Davien Caruthers, who gained 91 total yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last contest, Hardin County made sure to put some points up on the board against Evangelical Christian on Friday. The Tigers secured a 34-28 W over the Eagles. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tigers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Jackson North Side's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hardin County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.
