Baseball Game Preview: Honeoye Bulldogs vs. Naples Big Green Machines

For the second straight game, Honeoye will face off against Naples. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Big Green Machines at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Honeoye's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Naples' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Honeoye was able to grind out a solid victory over Naples, taking the game 5-2. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Big Green Machines recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

For Naples' part, Theron VanZandt was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. VanZandt has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rowan Biggs, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Naples moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Honeoye, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
