Elias Deluna leads Natalia to victory over Tournament Opponent

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ingram Moore, the Natalia Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Tournament Opponent by a score of 55-42.

Elias Deluna was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Natalia's points. Another player making a difference was Dominic San miguel, who scored 5 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists.

Natalia's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Tournament Opponent, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 19-75.

Natalia will play host again and welcome Jourdanton, where tip off is scheduled for 1:50 p.m. on Saturday. Tournament Opponent is on the road again on Friday and play against Temple Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Temple Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
