Baseball Recap: Gatlinburg-Pittman Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Gatlinburg-Pittman made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pigeon Forge, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Highlanders blew past the Tigers 11-1 on Monday. With that win, the Highlanders brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Cutshaw, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Gatlinburg-Pittman pushed their record up to 13-12 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Pigeon Forge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-2.
