Softball Recap: Bay Takes a Loss

The Bay Yellowjackets lost 22-7 to the Piggott Mohawks on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Piggott, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bay will head out to square off against Cross County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunderbirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Yellowjackets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Piggott, they will take on Marmaduke at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
