Soccer Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Fort Morgan Mustangs, falling 4-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Valley couldn't quite close it out.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Fort Morgan, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Windsor Charter Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fort Morgan will challenge rival Weld Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
