Softball Recap: ROWVA/Galva/Williamsfield Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for ROWVA/Galva/Williamsfield's offense. They came up short against the Delavan Panthers on Monday, falling 11-0. That's two games in a row now that the Mid County Cougars have lost by exactly 11 runs.

ROWVA/Galva/Williamsfield's record now sits at 0-2. As for Delavan, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ROWVA/Galva/Williamsfield will challenge Illini Bluffs at 4:30 p.m. on May 6. As for Delavan, they will square off against Havana at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ducks have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
