Westhope/Newburg/Glenburn is a perfect 3-0 against Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sioux will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

If Westhope/Newburg/Glenburn beats Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood with 50 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Sioux simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Dunseith 50-14. The Sioux haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood faced Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mavericks put the hurt on the Bombers with a sharp 54-34 win. The Mavericks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Westhope/Newburg/Glenburn, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
