Basketball Recap: Butte Central Catholic's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Butte Central Catholic had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Libby Loggers by a score of 46-36 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Maroons as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Butte Central Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 57-34 loss against Columbia Falls on the 14th. As for Libby, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bonners Ferry at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
