Basketball Game Preview: Crandall Pirates vs. Kaufman Lions

The Crandall Pirates will take on the Kaufman Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Crandall was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to Midlothian Heritage.

Meanwhile, Kaufman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 61-38 to Connally. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since November 15th.

Crandall has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Kaufman, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
