Volleyball Recap: Wayzata Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with River Falls

Wayzata is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of River Falls. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Wayzata's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for River Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season.

Wayzata will head out to take on Minnetonka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Falls, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Delano at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
