Soccer Recap: East Lawrence Comes Up Short

East Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the West Limestone Wildcats, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Limestone this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 back in February.

East Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for West Limestone, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.

East Lawrence wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Lawrence County on the 17th. As for West Limestone, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Mae Jemison on the 17th.
