Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Knights vs. Idaho Falls Tigers
Hillcrest lost against Idaho Falls last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hillcrest Knights lost 3-0 to the Idaho Falls Tigers.
While Hillcrest was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21, 25-15.
Idaho Falls was led to victory by Addison Bowen and Grace Fuger. Bowen had nine digs and two aces, while Fuger had 13 digs. Fuger is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.
Hillcrest has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-21 record this season. As for Idaho Falls, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-12-1.
Hillcrest will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Skyline at 5:00 p.m. Hillcrest is facing Skyline at the right time seeing as Skyline is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Idaho Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
