Softball Game Preview: Hamilton County Foxes vs. Flora Wolves

For the second straight game, Hamilton County will face off against Flora. The Foxes will welcome the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Hamilton County fell victim to Flora and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Foxes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Flora's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hamilton County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
