Soccer Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson and Glenn pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played Glenn, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Rockets who were credited with the victory. While losing is never fun, Stevenson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Glenn are ranked 94th).

Stevenson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-1 record this season. As for Glenn, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-1-1.

Coming up, Stevenson will challenge South Lyon at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Glenn, they will face off against Cabrini at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
