Grayslake Central entered their tilt with Antioch on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They claimed a resounding 60-22 win over the Antioch Sequoits. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Sequoits are ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the defeat, Antioch had strong showings from Addison Webb, who posted seven points, and Scarlett Carroll, who had seven points.

Grayslake Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Antioch, their record now sits at 3-6.

Grayslake Central will be taking part in a tournament against Glenbard West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Antioch and Loyola Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
