Baseball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside and DePaul College Prep squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Northside had to settle for second. They lost 13-1 to the Rams. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Northside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Weigand, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 20-12. As for DePaul College Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-12.

As of now, neither Northside nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
