Soccer Game Preview: Millbrook vs. Wake Forest

Millbrook's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Knightdale as they made off with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Millbrook, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Wake Forest faced Millbrook in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Cougars won by a goal and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1. The result kept Wake Forest happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 8th.

Millbrook is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those six contests. As for Wake Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1-5.
