Softball Game Preview: Winneconne Wolves vs. Waupun Warriors

The Winneconne Wolves will square off against the Waupun Warriors at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Friday, Winneconne got the win against Iola-Scandinavia by a conclusive 17-1. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waupun). They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Plymouth on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Waupun now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Winneconne, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
