Football Recap: Rockford Auburn Comes Up Short

Rockford Auburn lost against Guilford back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights were outmatched by the Vikings and fell 56-13. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Despite the loss, Rockford Auburn still got an impressive performance from Gavin Sanders, who rushed for 93 yards and one score on only 12 carries, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. Daniel Ballard got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Rockford Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Guilford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
