Rainier's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mason Emil, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Kennedy Catholic was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 58-57 to Kentridge. Kennedy Catholic has not had much luck with Kentridge recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Mt. Rainier's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Kennedy Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
