Basketball Recap: Oglethorpe County Comes Up Short

Oglethorpe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 45-32 to the Providence Christian Academy Storm. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-42 back in December of 2024.

Oglethorpe County's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Providence Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.

Oglethorpe County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-56 defeat against Banks County on the 24th. Providence Christian Academy has also already played their next contest, a 56-54 loss against Commerce on the 24th.
