For the second straight game, Mingus will face off against Mohave. The Marauders will be playing at home against the Thunderbirds at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Mingus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Mingus got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 7-3 win over Mohave. The victory continues a trend for the Marauders in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won seven in a row.

Kaden Pusl spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mingus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derrick Alvarez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Silas Scott was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Mohave is on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16. As for Mingus, their win bumped their record up to 6-13-1.
