Volleyball Recap: East Central Finds Home Court Redemption Against Northeast Jones + How To Watch

There's no place like home for East Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Northeast Jones Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since October 1, 2024.

Kaitlyn Hooks paced East Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hooks got some help from Lila Gerrie and her 30 assists. Lilly Patterson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

East Central's victory bumped their record up to 16-18. As for Northeast Jones, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

East Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against St. Patrick on the 29th. As for Northeast Jones, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Newton County on the 27th.
