Softball Recap: East Ridge Comes Up Short

East Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Signal Mountain Eagles, falling 27-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 26, 2024, but that streak is no more.

East Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Signal Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, East Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Bank at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Signal Mountain, they will head out to face off against Girls Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruisers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
