Softball Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. Davie War Eagles

Reagan has enjoyed a eight-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Davie War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reagan pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs per game. As for Davie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Reagan skirted past Davie 1-0 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reagan since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
