Baseball Recap: Tolar Takes a Loss

Tolar blew Eastland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Eastland got their revenge. Tolar fell just short of Eastland by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rattlers have suffered since February 27th.

Tolar saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Cauble, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Noah Yanish also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

With the loss, Tolar broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-9. As for Eastland, their win bumped their record up to 3-7-2.

Coming up, Tolar is taking a road trip to take on Peaster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tolar will need to watch out since Peaster has now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Eastland, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Early at 7:00 p.m. Eastland is facing Early at the right time seeing as Early is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
