Soccer Recap: Rockwall Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Rockwall proved they can win big last Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Tyler Legacy Raiders 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Raiders back in February, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The victory (which was Rockwall's third in a row) raised their record to 11-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Tyler Legacy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Rockwall and Tyler Legacy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Rockwall will challenge Royse City at 7:15 p.m. on Friday up 174 places (156 vs. 330). Similarly, Tyler Legacy (ranked 14th) will meet Rockwall-Heath (ranked 67th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
