Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-Valley). They claimed a resounding 69-42 victory over the Canton C-Hawks. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tri-Valley's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Canton, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Tri-Valley will take on Elk Point-Jefferson at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Canton, they will face off against Sioux Falls Lutheran at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Canton is facing Sioux Falls Lutheran at the right time seeing as Sioux Falls Lutheran is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
