Baseball Recap: Guilford Park Comes Up Short

Guilford Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the South River Seahawks.

Guilford Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South River, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Guilford Park will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marriotts Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on May 1. As for South River, they will host Crofton at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
