Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Duplin). They put the hurt on the West Columbus Vikings with a sharp 7-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for North Duplin as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for West Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Duplin will welcome Lakewood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Columbus, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Whiteville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
