Softball Game Preview: West Fork Gators vs. MacArthur Generals

The West Fork Gators will be taking part in a tournament against the MacArthur Generals at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. West Fork's hittershaven't had much luck over their past four contests, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Monday, West Fork came up short against Goose Creek Memorial and fell 6-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask MacArthur). They were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over Nimitz on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Generals have posted since April 2, 2024.

West Fork now has a losing record of 4-5. As for MacArthur, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-1.

West Fork beat MacArthur 5-0 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Fork since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
