Basketball Recap: Northland Skates Past Mifflin with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbus International, Northland was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 46-13 win over the Mifflin Punchers. That looming 46-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.

Northland's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Mifflin, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

When Northland and Mifflin next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Northland will challenge Whetstone and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Mifflin will try to stop Centennial's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
