After a string of five wins, Oakwood Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers by a score of 67-64. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 248th).
