Shippensburg extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Penn - Colonial this week by beating Big Spring, 20-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Greyhounds.
Northern York took down James Buchanan 55-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
West Perry's dynamic duo of Zach Smith and Keeghan Morrison proved tough for Gettysburg to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Smith threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns and Morrison had 192 yards receiving. Chase May helped West Perry's passing attack out by catching eight balls for 63 yards.
Austin Scott was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 98 yards as Greencastle-Antrim defeated the Warriors. Teammate Matthew Montedoro added to the ground attack by rushing for 79 yards.
West Perry's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 1189 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Morrison has 29 catches for 533 yards. Smith also leads the league in rushing with 855 yards.
Two of the top units in Mid-Penn - Colonial will face off this week when West Perry takes on the Polar Bears. Al Ream's team's offense has racked up 279 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Northern York has allowed only 88 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Mustangs take on Rich Mauck's team. As it stands, West Perry is in second, while the Polar Bears are in third.
Northern York led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on the Rockets.
