Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger Takes a Loss

The Wisner-Pilger Gators came up short against Douglas County West/Concordia on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Wisner-Pilger was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13.

Emerson Bellar paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bellar got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 16 assists.

Wisner-Pilger has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Wisner-Pilger will face off against Tekamah-Herman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas County West/Concordia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
