Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amirah Anderson, who shot 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Desirae Ashton, who scored ten points along with two steals.

Paul VI pushed their record up to 15-11 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Bishop Ireton, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
