The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Sharon and Franklin had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Sharon's record is now 4-17. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Sharon will venture away from home to face off against Brockton at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The Boxers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.53 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
