Volleyball Recap: Barron Wins Going Away Against Spooner

Barron not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Spooner Rails 3-0. The Golden Bears haven't had any issues with the Rails recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-10.

Abby Miller had an outrageously good game as she had 15 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matchups. Hannah Coss also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Barron's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Spooner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Barron is set to face off against their familiar foe Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spooner will challenge rival St. Croix Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
