Volleyball Recap: Walker Takes a Loss

If Walker was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of The Weber School on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines came up short against the Mount Paran Christian Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolverines have suffered since October 19, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-14.

Annabelle Rosen paced Walker's offense, picking up nine kills. Rosen got some help from Samantha Baty and her 24 assists. Sydney Menzie controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Leading Mount Paran Christian to victory were Nola Belle Schoenborn and Kelsie Moran. Schoenborn had 21 digs and one assist, while Moran had 15 digs and two assists. Those 21 digs gave Schoenborn a new career-high.

Walker's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 30-18. As for Mount Paran Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-11 record this season.

Walker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Paran Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wesleyan on the 8th.
