            The Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions will head out to  take on the Design Tech Dragons  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy is looking for their season's first  win.

Meanwhile, while Design Tech put up plenty of  runs on Monday, the same  can't be said for Latino College Preparatory Academy. The Dragons blew past the Golden Eagles 17-0. Considering the Dragons have won nine games by more than seven  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jeneva Fletcher made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Ella Lewis was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  triple.  Caitlin Edwards was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Design Tech was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .593. They are 8-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Design Tech is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.2 runs over those games. As for Luis Valdez Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Luis Valdez Leadership Academy suffered a grim  18-2 defeat to Design Tech  in their previous meeting  back in April. Can the Lions avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
