Thayer has gone 7-2 against Houston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Houston will be up against a hot Thayer team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Bobcats claimed a resounding 55-16 victory over Salem. That looming 55-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bobcats yet this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Houston). They breezed past Cabool to the tune of 55-0 on Friday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Thayer better keep an eye on Dj Riley. He was instrumental in Houston's win, rushing for 133 yards and five TDs on only 13 carries. Thanks to that big game, Riley is now up to 9 rushing touchdowns on the season. Tucker Venn was another key player, rushing for 127 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

Houston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 365 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Thayer's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Houston, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
