            There's no place like home for Resurrection, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Bartlett Hawks with a sharp  26-6 win on Tuesday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Bandits as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

 Emily Cook was a one-woman wrecking crew as she threw for 185 yards and four  touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards on only five carries. That's the most  passing yards  she has posted  over her last eight  games.
 Resurrection didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over.  Isabel Mendoza led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by herself.  Emily Verdon is becoming a predictor of Resurrection's success: when she posts  at  least one  interception the team is 5-2 (and 2-6 when she doesn't).
Resurrection's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Bartlett, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Resurrection wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  19-0  defeat against St. Francis on the 17th. As for Bartlett, they will be playing at home against Elk Grove  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Grenadiers' defense has only allowed 0.9  points per game  this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
