Warren Township's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Warren Township can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Zion-Benton are ranked 31st).

Warren Township has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Zion-Benton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
