Volleyball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union and Wapsie Valley squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Union had to settle for second. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since October 29, 2024.

Kalle Voy was nothing short of spectacular for Wapsie Valley: she had 21 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Voy has posted over her last seven matchups.

This is the second loss in a row for Union and nudges their season record down to 20-5. As for Wapsie Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-17.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wapsie Valley, they will face off against Denver at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
