Volleyball Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon was the 2-1 winner over Erie-Prophetstown when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Dukes & Duchesses took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Saturday. The Dukes & Duchesses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Izzy Queckboerner paced Dixon's offense, picking up seven kills. Queckboerner got some help from Leah Carlson and her nine assists.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Erie-Prophetstown, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Dixon has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pecatonica on the 4th. As for Erie-Prophetstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Newman Central Catholic on the 4th.
